As an attacker on Icebox<\/strong>, there are two main paths to B site, one through B main and the other through Tube. To access Tube, you will need to cross through mid, exposing yourself to any defenders holding the position. This can be highly disadvantageous if you don\u2019t smoke off boiler, as the ramp\u2019s high-ground angle allows the defenders to peek you without fully exposing themselves. On the other hand, pushing through B main allows you to move into B main, a long corridor leading to the bombsite, and gain direct access. Be cautious<\/strong> of defenders holding B from yellow at the start of the round, especially if you know the enemy team has enough credits to purchase an operator<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Pushing from B main into the bombsite poses its own challenges however, as B main is a long, narrow chokepoint<\/strong>, and in contrast, the site itself is quite open<\/strong>, with various angles and points of elevation that defenders can use to their advantage during holds or retakes. Even if you make it on the site, you’ll need to be decisive<\/strong> and quick to adjust to multiple angles as you clear or hold the bombsite. Having a good controller is crucial in regards to locking down large open areas like Icebox\u2019s B site<\/strong>, but, you cannot always rely on your teammates to fill their intended role properly; you need to be self-sufficient<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In order to succeed in your B site pushes, holds, and even retakes, you will need to make reacting to the plethora of potential angles second nature to you. The featured task aims to enhance your reflexes and familiarize you with typical defender positions while taking control of B site on Icebox.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
