First, ensure your crosshair is well-positioned, maintaining head level and adjusting your horizontal placement as needed. When you have a general idea of an enemy&#8217;s location, &#8220;<strong>pre-aim<\/strong>&#8221; by aligning your crosshair with where the opponent\u2019s player model is expected to appear as you peek into their position.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Positioning is quite often overlooked in wall-peeking by novice players. <strong>A common mistake is standing too close to the wall<\/strong>, something which directly puts you at a disadvantage. In this position, the enemy will see you before you can spot them, due to how your cone of vision works in VALORANT, exposing your shoulder to their line of sight before you get the chance to catch a glimpse of your foe. By using a recreation of the popular VALORANT map \u201c<strong>Split<\/strong>\u201d, this training will further ensure your ability to recreate these mechanics out on the battlefield.<br><br><strong>Position yourself further back from the wall<\/strong>, strafing side to side to see a cylindrical target at a variety of different depths and heights down each lane that you peek.
