This major content drop brings overhauled Patrons and bases, a fast-paced new mode called Street Brawl, HUD improvements, tons of polish, quality-of-life changes, and a fresh slate of heroes set to change the flow of matches.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>This is Deadlock&#8217;s first large update since <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/store.steampowered.com\/news\/app\/1422450\/view\/669466707009471267\">last August&#8217;s hero rollout<\/a><\/strong>. That update introduced six heroes: <strong>Billy<\/strong>, <strong>Doorman<\/strong>, <strong>Paige<\/strong>, <strong>Drifter<\/strong>, <strong>Viktor<\/strong>, and <strong>Mina<\/strong>, through a staggered release system driven by player votes. Starting <strong>Monday, January 26<\/strong>, players will vote every Monday and Thursday to select from the lineup of <strong>Silver<\/strong>, <strong>Rem<\/strong>, <strong>Graves<\/strong>, <strong>Apollo<\/strong>, <strong>Celeste<\/strong>, and <strong>Venator<\/strong>, to decide which of the six new heroes enters the game next. This brings Deadlock back to a community-led rollout schedule, giving players direct influence over the order of hero releases week to week.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Beyond new heroes, Old Gods, New Blood begins Deadlock&#8217;s shift into larger, more strategic updates that reshape gameplay and presentation. The update&#8217;s base and Patron changes give matches a different rhythm, and Street Brawl offers a fresh way to play and practice.
