The importance of landing headshots is highly dependant on the FPS title you are playing, however, in the context of tactical shooters like Counter-Strike 2<\/a><\/strong> or VALORANT<\/a><\/strong> where the TTK<\/a><\/strong> is low and a single shot can be the determining factor in the outcome of an aim duel, headshots are key.

In CS2, your ability to click heads is the most important mechanical component in regards to coming out on top in your engagements. This might sound simple in theory, however, in practice things start to get a bit more complicated. The hitboxes in CS2 are quite small, meaning that in order to land a headshot, you will need pixel-perfect precision. Introduce player movement into this as an additional variable, and you will quickly begin to realize why.

Flicking onto static or immobile targets is much simpler than flicking onto dynamic or moving targets. The reasoning behind this is quite simple, while flicking to a static target you are adjusting your crosshair to a target at a fixed position, with dynamic targets you will have to take into account the target\u2019s movement and adjust your aim accordingly.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The provided task<\/a><\/strong> will work on your ability to flick precisely onto a number of dynamic targets. It requires you to target bots that follow a sporadic movement pattern as they strafe horizontally. The task will help you the most regarding in-game situations where you\u2019re attempting to time your clicks onto a strafing target in an aim duel. There will be three active targets at any given time, with a target respawning after you’ve destroyed it.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
