Maybe you’re bashing your head against Microflick Intermediate, you can visualize what needs to happen, but you can’t meaningfully push your score, and your rank has stagnated as a result. That progress that was rolling along has stalled, and even though you have an idea of what needs to improve to get your score over the hump, it just isn’t clicking.

There’s nothing wrong with grinding the Benchmark tasks, but it’s just one approach, right? We can always change things up, see if that gives us a new angle to attack the challenge, and find that breakthrough. Sometimes, that can happen with an entirely different task that helps you practice those aspects of your aim that weren’t developing by grinding that one Benchmark task.

So that’s where the Tapmaxxing Routine comes in. This playlist is built around the eight tasks in the Tap category of the Season 2 Benchmarks: Dualflick, Depthflick, Microflick, Vertflick, Reflexflick, Pulseflick, Gravflick, and Strafeflick. This routine gives you two tasks to help improve at those corresponding benchmarks: one is a variation of that Benchmark scenario, and the other is a different task with a similar concept. In the coming weeks, we’ll round out the entire Season 2 Benchmarks with routines like this one for the Track and Switch categories, so stay tuned!

Click Here to start the Tapmaxxing playlist in Aimlabs!

All 16 tasks are flicking-focused, and the baseline difficulty for each Benchmark variation is its Intermediate version, so the playlist should feel familiar if you’ve already been through the Season 2 Benchmarks.

Dualflick

Dualflick S2 Pokeball – This is the Pokeball version of Dualflick Intermediate S2, so hold down your fire button. In Pokeball tasks, you hold down the trigger to shoot for the entire run, without letting go between targets. That makes them great for initial flick accuracy, since you have to land on the target properly and stay there until it’s eliminated, which cuts down on those shaky landings. Targets also regenerate health, so if you leave one half-finished to chase the next, you’re handing points back. In practice, you should treat these like a switching task that happens to be built around your flicks. Similar situations will appear throughout the routine, so take note.

If the health bars on these targets end up being more distracting than helpful, that’s easy to fix. Head to the health bar settings under Targets & Healthbars, where you can change their size, color, and opacity, or turn them off entirely.

Micro 3 Sphere – This is a static clicking task with three very far dots in a small spawn area, so this one is pure micro flick isolation. How well you do depends on how fast and smooth you can microcorrect while keeping a steady pace the whole way through. That means it’s training your microcorrections, but it’s also training your endurance.

Depthflick

Depthflick S2 Pokeball – Same idea as the Dualflick section, now applied to Depthflick Intermediate S2. Keep your click held down the whole time, land clean, and finish each target before you move on.

Adjustshot 4 Targets – Four very slow-moving targets in a mostly horizontal spawn. The movement is slight, but it perfectly separates the two halves of a flick: the initial flick to get to the target and the microcorrection that finishes it. You need quick, precise flicks between targets, and you also need to pay attention to where your crosshair really lands, and whether you need to adjust before you click.

Microflick

Microflick S2 Clusters – This task is a cluster version of Microflick Intermediate S2. A big part of Microflick is spotting groups of targets and chaining through them quickly, and this version adds extra targets so more clusters form, and you get more chances to farm them. It also pushes you to read target movement and spawns, since you have to stay aware of which clusters are forming to really play well.

LG56 ACC 2025 Angleshot Micro – Two small floating bots spawn randomly in a long corridor and float in front of you, with the ability to strafe horizontally and vertically. It rewards reading the targets, microcorrecting, and staying aware of where your next target is, since keeping your pace up is how you reach high scores here. Targets can also spawn at different depths, challenging your depth perception and your ability to transition between targets that look bigger and closer and ones that are farther away and demand more precision.

Vertflick

Vertflick S2 2 Targets – This is a 2-target version of Vertflick Intermediate S2. Like Microflick, much of your score in Vertflick comes from chaining and farming clusters, but because everything is stacked vertically, one skill gets overlooked: eliminating targets with lots of vertical separation. This task will force you to constantly flick between two targets that can appear with different amounts of separation, so you’re working on proper vertical flicking, target reading, and maintaining a solid pace.

Twoshot Vertical Narrow Med – This scenario features two static targets on a narrow wall that spawn with a lot of vertical separation, forcing you to land wide vertical flicks. You’ll be going back and forth between them constantly while maintaining good pacing, making it a great way to isolate pure vertical flicking and spawn reading.

Reflexflick

Reflexflick S2 Adjustshot – This is a variation of Reflexflick Intermediate S2 where the targets move gently. It keeps the reactive side of the scenario: the faster you eliminate a target, the more points you earn, but those slight movements force proper microcorrections, so speed alone won’t cut it. You also have to focus on accuracy when you land.

Widereflex Easy – This horizontal reflex task features a single static target that alternates between spawning on each side of the map. The quicker you eliminate it, the more points you earn, and you lose points if you take too long. The target can also spawn at different depths, so you’ll need to adjust your flick speed to stay accurate.

Pulseflick

Pulseflick S2 Endurance – This is the endurance-focused version of Pulseflick Intermediate S2: a 30-second task with many targets that emphasizes raw speed and target prioritization over a shorter run. In Pulseflick, the two big skills are tracking which targets are growing and about to despawn, and pathing between them. A lot of points come from farming targets while they’re big, but also from picking off newer, smaller ones on your way to the bigger ones. Here, targets take slightly longer to despawn, but there are more of them, so you’ll need to be fast and strategic at the same time.

5 Sphere Hipfire Pokeball Small – This is a Pokeball scenario with five small targets on a medium-sized wall. With that many targets, clusters form often, so you’ll be training micro flicks in particular. The same Pokeball rules apply: hold your click, don’t stop shooting between targets, and finish what you start before they regenerate.

Gravflick

Gravflick S2 Evasive – This is a more evasive version of Gravflick Intermediate S2, with more frequent and more aggressive vertical and horizontal strafes. It’s also head-only. The key to Gravflick is understanding the targets’ arcing motion and hitting them while they strafe, since they decelerate slowly. Every so often, a target strafes before it reaches the top or bottom of the map, which means you miss, your pace gets wrecked, and your potential score drops. With the targets strafing more often and accelerating harder in this version, it’s great practice for reading target movement.

Liftshot Intermediate – This is actually a Season 1 Benchmark task, which is a linear flicking scenario with several small targets in a tall corridor. They make long, predictable vertical strafes and some easy-to-read horizontal ones, so you train vertical flicking and accuracy against moving targets, as well as how quickly you can move from one target to the next.

Strafeflick

Strafeflick S2 Multi – This task is a multishot variation of Strafeflick Intermediate S2, where each target takes three shots to fully eliminate. It’s head-only as well. Strafeflick bots can be deceptively evasive, since even when they look like they’re moving in a predictable direction, a quick strafe in the opposite direction can catch you off guard. Because targets require three hits, you end up shooting them at different stages of their movement, both on straight lines and mid-strafe, which reinforces reading target movement, reactions, and quick corrections as they change direction.

VT Waveshot Intermediate – This task features single-click bots that fly in long, low-angle horizontal arcs with slow, easy-to-read directional changes. The bots sit at several different height levels and make smooth but subtle vertical transitions, so they can strafe horizontally, vertically, and back and forth. The extra depth changes your aiming angles, so you train for moments when you aren’t aiming from your most comfortable position. This is a great one for target reading and pacing.

Fitting It To Your Level

With the variations of the Benchmarks tasks being built on the Intermediate difficulty level, you may find some of them easy or hard, depending on where you currently stand with your own aiming progress. That’s why we’re shouting out that Task Tuning is now free for all Aimlabs players, and it’s a great way to adjust these tasks to your skill level. If you are an Aimlabs Pro member, check out the Personalized Difficulty feature with this playlist, which adjusts the difficulty to the ideal level on the fly as you play.

We also want to stress that the Season 2 Benchmarks were built to work as more than a scoreboard for your progress… Some scenarios complement each other directly, with flicking, tracking, and switching versions of the same concepts. Microflick has Microswitch, Vertflick has Vertswitch, Gravflick has Gravtrack and Gravswitch, and Strafeflick has Strafetrack and Strafeswitch. Once you’ve worked through Tapmaxxing, those are the natural next places to look for the same skills under different demands.

Click Here to start the Tapmaxxing playlist in Aimlabs!

Looking for the perfect playlist to help you break through your flicking plateau on Season 2 of the Aimlabs Benchmarks?
