Introducing the Calm Aim Youtube Routine
You’ve seen the video and checked out the blog, now lets dive into the playlist! The Calm Aim YouTube Routine is an Official Aimlabs playlist, created as a companion for the recent YouTube video. This is a VALORANT-focused playlist designed to help you train the raw aim aspects of calm aim, with it covering stability, accuracy, timing, composure, and speed across a small selection of tasks.
The playlist should take you just about six minutes, so you can run it for a few reps during your day-to-day training. Be sure to check out the video to help understand the big picture of the playlist and how it will translate to your VALORANT gameplay.

The Tasks

Centering II 180 No Strafes – This task focuses on training your horizontal tracking while keeping it consistent and relaxed. It’s built around the core tracking motion, which will make it a great opportunity to work through any shakiness, jitter, or tension with your grip.

Twoshot Horizontalish Depth – This is a static flicking scenario that features two targets on a wide horizontal wall, making it perfect for training your wide flicks. Focus on landing clean, precise flicks, and dial in your motions to avoid over or underflicking. If you find that you’re struggling with accuracy, start by deliberately under aiming, slowing down as you approach the target, then adjust and confirm your shot. As you continue to practice, speed your movements up until the entire process feels faster and cleaner.

Headshot VALORANT – The third task on the routine is designed around training your aim to land your first shot on swinging enemies, while avoiding the need to reset and re-aim at your targets. You’re training to end an aim duel as quickly as possible, focusing on that first bullet accuracy. To get the most out of this one, avoid tracking the targets, and instead, lead your shots and focus on your click timing to fire as soon as the target moves into position.

KA Reflex Shot – The next drill features a centered target, that spawns another target randomly on the wall. You’ll notice a small countdown bar at the bottom of the screen after it spawns that second target, which emphasizes that you’ll score more points the faster you destroy it. Stay calm and limit any unnecessary movements. You don’t want to spam clicks here, just click correctly and accurately when you’re ready.

Pulseshot Precision Entry – The routine’s final task features a number of targets that start small and gradually increase in size over time. The goal here is to click on targets as quickly as possible when they are smaller, which will be challenging, but this task is the culmination of everything you’ve worked on throughout the routine. You’re looking for clean, calm, and confident aim here, without throwing your speed out in the process.
